Welcome back! I hope you had an enjoyable summer, and are now ready to dig in at the many academic challenges awaiting you. Since the start of the summer semester, the editorial staff has been to working hard to generate and produce fresh ideas for the campus’s top news and information vehicle.

A Cost of Freedom tribute is an event that honors our military men and women. It will be conducted by the American Veterans Traveling Tribute from Wednesday, Sept. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 3 in the Student Recreation parking lot at Colorado State University-Pueblo.

The number of motorists who drive through the stop sign adjacent to the Recreation Center at Colorado State University-Pueblo is a problem that seems to get no attention from the campus hierarchy.

I love to try to get into the minds of children. They are so "real" and uncensored. Sometimes their responses are so simple and creative that we as adults have to do a double-take and say to ourselves: "Why didn't I think of that?"
