Pack and Rams are evenly matched for playoff game

Photo by Dustin Cox After earning a first-round bye in the NCAA Division II playoffs, the Colorado State-Pueblo ThunderWolves are preparing to face a familiar foe in Angelo State, a team they defeated 45-24 last year in the Lone Star Classic at Cowboys Stadium. Entering Saturday’s game, Angelo State will be riding in on a six-game winning streak. Local brew fest offers tastes of Colorado

The Big Bear Brew Fest, held at the Pueblo Convention Center Saturday, brought hundreds of people out for a night of beer and liquor samplings. More than 50 different breweries from all over the state of Colorado came together to offer more than 100 different samples to the people of Pueblo. After entering the festival, participants were given a complimentary Big Bear lanyard with a tasting cup attached. Colorado State University-Pueblo recently welcomed students to show their art in the annual student art exhibition on campus. Mike Womack, the Professor of Painting and Drawing at CU Boulder, chose art from various students to be in the show. A variety of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, photography and digital art were on display. As the director of Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action and Title IX at Colorado State University-Pueblo, Roosevelt T. Wilson has mastered the need to be prepared. He has brought years of military training and expertise to his position, where he is working to create a more inclusive and diverse environment on campus. Colorado State University-Pueblo’s Student Engagement and Leadership office held an event to lead campus organizations to success Nov. 11. Starting at 5:30 p.m., approximately 90 CSU-Pueblo student leaders were treated to a meal provided by Chartwells.
