Students participate in free Outdoor Pursuits activities

Outdoor Pursuits hosted slacklining and kayaking in CSU-Pueblo’s Recreation Center Jan. 29. The activities, which are included in tuition costs, are free for students to attend. Outdoor Pursuit staff provides a safe environment to learn basic slacklining and kayaking skills in a positive environment among students. Participants do not need any prior experience to attend. Super Bowl interest on campus not affected by scandal

Over the last five years, the Super Bowl has set and broken the record for the most-watched television broadcast in United States history four times according to ESPN’s online site. Last year’s blowout between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos brought in 111.5 million viewers. Vice President of Student Services and Enrollment Management Paul Orscheln Paul Orscheln, who started his role as the vice president of student services and enrollment management at Colorado State University-Pueblo on Sept. 30, 2013, has succeeded substantially in increasing enrollment on campus. CSU-Pueblo begins search for new provost

Following the December resignation of former Colorado State University-Pueblo Provost Carl Wright, proceedings are underway to select the man or woman who will take over this important administrative position. Wright, who began his new role with CSU-Pueblo in January as a tenured professor for the Hasan School of Business, has taught business and accounting courses since 1976. Writing Room’s new coordinator hopes to instill confidence in campus writers

The Writing Room's new coordinator Chad Pickering hopes to create a warm writing environment for students. Colorado State University-Pueblo offers numerous tutoring programs in order to assist its students throughout their college journey. Campus clubs attend student organization summit

CSU-Pueblo Student Engagement and Leadership hosted a spring summit on campus for student organizations on Wednesday Jan. 21. The event, which took place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., was hosted in the Occhiato University Center. Student organizations were required to attend the summit, and each was expected to send one representative from their organization. Though it was preferred that representative be an executive elected officer, a registered representative was acceptable. iPad technology assists students with hybrid class
