A game that was shaping up to be a defensive battle exploded into a Nebraska-Kearney College route Saturday as the Lopers defeated the ThunderWolves 44-12.
Colorado State University-Pueblo gave up four touchdown passes of 60 yards or more, and saw another score come from a big play on the Lopers' fumble recovery for a touchdown in the third quarter.

The ThunderWolves had another off night Saturday when they faced Chadron State College, falling in four sets to the Eagles.
Despite standout nights from sophomore’s Janae Heiser and Alea Wildman, who logged 20 and 17 kills respectively, the difference was the Pack's inability to close out close sets, as the Eagles converted more big points when it counted.
