File photo A lawsuit filed against Colorado State University-Pueblo President Lesley Di Mare by professor Timothy McGettigan remains in litigation. The lawsuit, which was filed in January 2015, cited that McGettigan’s First Amendment rights were violated when his email account was deactivated after a mass email was sent out to organize a protest in response to the university’s proposed job cuts. Local nonprofits to benefit from annual ‘Colorado Gives Day’

Students excel with help from Denver Scholarship Foundation

The Denver Scholarship Foundation program at Colorado State University-Pueblo has consistantly excelled academically and has one of the highest success rates of the 40 technical, community and four-year colleges and universities in Colorado that participate in the program. In the 2013-2014 school year, of the 60 DSF scholars at CSU-Pueblo, 98 percent met their academic requirements. There are 74 students in the DSF program this school year.
