ThunderWolves’ wrestling team defeats Mines

The CSU-Pueblo wrestling team beat Colorado School of Mines Wednesday, Jan. 18, out-dueling the Orediggers 20-15. This was the first victory for the ThunderWolves against Mines since wrestling returned to the university in 2006.

The Pack opened its baseball season over the weekend. The Montana State-Billings Yellowjackets made the trip to the steel city, winning both games on Sunday after the pack won the two games on Saturday.

The CSU-Pueblo Thunderwolves women’s basketball team beat the UC-Colorado Springs Mountain Lions Saturday night at Massari arena, 75-59.

The Thunderwolves men and women’s basketball teams played host to New Mexico Highlands Friday night. The ladies started the night off with a loss to the Cowgirls 60-52, the men evened the score with an 87-82 win.
