The Kane Scholarship is an entirely merit-based scholarship awarded to one student at each Pueblo area high school looking to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
Selections for the scholarship are made based on each student’s high school academic record, essay, interview and high school recommendation.

Operation Warrior Entrepreneur seeks to provide assistance to veterans looking to start their own business in the Pikes Peak region.

Dr. Nile Scott, a Pueblo native and alumnus of Colorado State University-Pueblo, has been awarded with an honorary Kiwanis membership for his 30 years of discounted orthodontic treatment to the Pueblo community.
The Kiwanis Club of Pueblo has contributed more than $300,000 to more than 250 low-income or disadvantaged children that need substantial dental work, Zaletel said, such as having a broken jaw reset.

Hoag Recital Hall was bustling with spectators as Tiffany Grant performed her senior voice recital at Colorado State University-Pueblo on Saturday, Oct, 10.
Grant performed 12 songs that spanned seven different languages including a core of French, German and Italian, with subsequent songs in Russian, Czech, English and Portuguese.

A new phishing scam that attempts to burglarize user’s confidential information such as username, password, webmail login, and date of birth has found its way into the Colorado State University-Pueblo e-mail system.
Assistant professor of Mass Communications and Center for New Media, Justin Bregar, identifies the significance and consequence if someone attains personal information.

The Hasan School of Business has expanded the opportunity for Colorado State University-Pueblo students to get a Master of Business Administration degree.
The program is aimed at part-time students who are also working professionals. Students enrolled in the MBA program may take one course at a time, and the 36 hours of coursework can be completed in as little as two years.
