Latina/o Literary Discussion Group
The Latina/o Literary Discussion Group will be meeting on Thursday, February 7th from 5:00-6:00pm, in the First Year Center, on the second floor of the Library. We will be reading a collection of short stories, Drown, by Junot Diaz, a Dominican-American author. Student Clubs Get Involved!
Student Clubs - get involved! Set up a table at the Focus the Nation event at CSU-Pueblo to offer fun activities and information about global warming that is specific to your club. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved and to promote your club as well. The event will take place in the OUC Ballroom on Thursday, January 31st from 9am to 5pm. Contact the SEA at sea@colostate-pueblo.edu for more information. We can even help you think of fun activities that your club could do!
‘Scaling Routine’ exhibit runs Nov. 8-Dec. 5
The Fine Art Gallery at CSU-Pueblo invites you to an opening reception for an exhibit highlighting the transcendent qualities of accumulated labor and daily routine. On display, historical Native American textiles from the Orman Collection and contemporary works by Jennifer Reifsneider and Christine Marie Davis.
The opening reception will be held Nov. 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Fine Art Gallery.
The Fine Art Gallery is open every weekday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is located in the Art/Music Building on the CSU-Pueblo Campus. All gallery events are free and open to the public.

Students invited to free Thanksgiving meal
First United Methodist Church of Pueblo would like to invite you to our annual Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday, Nov. 18, with first dinner setting starting at 11 a.m. and second dinner setting starting at noon. Come, bring your friends and have a wonderful (free) meal with our church family.

Duties include checking in/out guests, processing credit card and cash payments, making reservations by phone, and occassionaly delivering ammenities to guests’ rooms.
