The Mesa Drive-In Theatre located in Blende is the only drive-in theatre in Southern Colorado.
It has three separate screens that each play a double feature starting at dusk. The cost $7.50 per person and children under 12 are free.

Two CSU-Pueblo students were honored with the title of Miss Pueblo and Miss Pueblo County Princess at the annual Miss Pueblo Pageant. Elizabeth Solano took the title of Miss Pueblo and Laurie Pierce, who already has a crown for Miss Juneteenth two years in a row, took Miss Pueblo County Princess.
