Catholic Campus Ministry plans discussion on school shootings
Catholic Campus Ministry at CSU-Pueblo will sponsor a discussion titled ”School Shootings and Other Bad Things: How to Find God Through Tragedy.” The event is scheduled for April 4, beginning at 6 p.m. at Angelo’s Pizza Parlor, 1110 W. Hwy. 50 in Pueblo.
The event is part of the Theology on Tap program, a national Catholic program that provides a forum for young adults to learn about and discuss their faith in a relaxed setting.
The event will feature Ben Schumann, a Columbine survivor from Denver who has been working as a minister and who has spoken to students in several places including the Virginia Tech.
Schumann will share his experiences with the Columbine shooting, including how he moved on, what he learned about it and how it changed his life.
Young adults of any religion, aged 21-35, are invited to attend the event. Call Janelle at 671-7276 for additional information.

Annual Student Art Show, March 3 - April 4
The Fine Art Gallery at CSU-Pueblo features a juried exhibit of artworks by CSU-Pueblo students from March 3 - April 4. An awards ceremony and opening reception is set for Wednesday, March 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. Refreshments will be provided and everyone is welcome to attend.
The event is sponsored by the CSU-Pueblo Art Club with support from the Associated Students’ Government.
Gallery hours are Mondays-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

‘Ladies of Many Hats’ celebrates Women’s History Month
The Southeastern Colorado Heritage Center presents “Ladies of Many Hats,” depicting the women of Pueblo, on March 4, in honor of Women’s History Month. The event begins with a reception at 5 p.m. on the first floor of the University Library, featuring displays about CSU-Pueblo women. The Ladies of Many Hats trunk show follows at 5:30 p.m. in LW 321.
The event is sponsored by the University Library, Chicano Studies and Women’s Studies.

National Student Exchange Open House: Feb. 22
Did you know that qualified CSU-Pueblo students can access the courses and programs of nearly 200 colleges and universities through the National Student Exchange program?
If you’re interested in learning more about the National Student Exchange program, come to an open house informational session on Friday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the OUC (downstairs annex in the Center for International Programs).

Girls’ Day Out at CSU-Pueblo
The Junior League of Pueblo will sponsor the fourth annual Girls’ Day Out on Saturday, March 15, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the OUC Ballroom.
Experience an entire day filled with events and vendors that are focused on you! Get pampered, be rejuvenated and indulge in frivolous fun with your friends.
Enjoy massages, shopping, facials, free gifts, door prizes, appetizers, wine and a fashion show at this year’s Girls’ Day Out — featuring Georgiann Lymberopoulos as the emcee.
