So what happened with your investigation into shady election practices by our ASG President ? If you had continued to dig a little further you might have struck gold. Last week Steve ran into me and my friends and bragged about how he had the last elections in his pocket. He said he could easily be reelected. What's really funny is that my friend who is a work study in Student Life tells me that Steve did not meet ASG requirements when he was elected, and he didnt meet them several times during his term in office. He was supposed to be a full time student with at least 12 credits. He was only carrying six credits. That must be why he has time to try to tell everyone on campus what to do and how to do it and that he could do it better.

So why didn't someone stop him ? The Dean of Students is supposed to check and make sure everything is done by the book. Why didn't he ? Could it be that has been telling Steve what to do like raise our student fees to $1,000 per month? Steve has sure been doing that. Does he get a share.

What I want to know is how can Steve get by with that? In Chicago where I used to live they do that sort of stuff. Only we call it election fraud and people go to jail for it. Demand a full investigation by ASG. Dont they have a legal department?

A concerned student.
