Fall auditions will mean a long night for directors

The Steel City Theatre Company will be holding open auditions for upcoming fall shows “Huck Finn” and “Traditions II: Holiday Magic.”
New and undiscovered local talent is invited to show off their talent for directors. SCTC is looking for actors, singers and dancers age 8 through adult.
• Audition Dates and Times: Monday, Aug. 27 and Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 6:00 pm
• Location: Colorado State University, Pueblo, Music Building
• Auditioners are encouraged to set up an audition time by calling (719)543-9800
• Walk-in auditioners are welcome, and will be seen in order of arrival during unscheduled time-slots.

SCTC is casting for two shows and will place auditioners where best suited.
“Huck Finn” is a full-length play taking place in October in conjunction with the Pueblo Library District’s “All Pueblo Reads” Program.
“Holiday Magic” is a Christmas Review experience for the whole family, utilizing up to forty actors, singers and dancers.
Auditions will be conducted by Director of “Huck Finn” Cory Moosman, SCTC Artistic Director and Director of “Holiday Magic” Andrea Garrett, and “Holiday Magic” Choreographer Karen Schaffenburg.
SCTC exits to bring quality theatrical productions to the Pueblo community. SCTC strives to create a theatre environment in which actors, directors, volunteers and audience members have the opportunity to understand themselves, their world, and their art in a new and more profound way.
