Homecoming week events

Homecoming Week is October 8-13. There are plenty of exciting events starting Monday and going until Friday. Here is a list of all the fun, action-packed things you can be a part of.

Monday, 8 Oct., is Toga Day. Wear your toga all day! There will also be free laurels at the Pavilion from 10-3pm, interviews for Mr. And Mrs. CSU-Pueblo at 3:30pm in the ASG room, free swing dance lessons in the BRH from 6:30-7:30pm, and a raffle that night in the BRH gym at 8pm.

Tuesday, 9 Oct., is Wild Wild West Day. Wear your western gear and pick up your free sheriff badge, available at the pavilion. Promote your club by building a mini float for the parade contest, compete in the Buffalo Wild Wings eating contest and bonfire near the soccer field at 8 pm, and receive free swing dance lessons at 6pm in the BRH gym.

Wednesday, 10 Oct., is Fabulous 50s Day. Dress up like Marilyn Monroe or James Dean. Get you 50s hair style done by a stylist, at the Pavilion, from 12-3pm. Later that night, dance in the ballroom and see the crowning of the 2007 Mr. And Mrs. CSU-Pueblo, and cheer on the Thunderwolves Men’s Soccer team against UCCS at 3:30pm.

Thursday, 11 Oct., is Get Your Groove on Day. Decorate tie dye shirts from 10-2pm at the Pavilion, get ready for the faculty/staff vs. students kickball tournament on softball fields one and two and skate the roller disco at Skate America at 8:30pm.

Friday, 12 Oct., is CSU-Pueblo Spirit Day. Wear the school colors and show your pride and support. Watch students compete in the 4th Annual T-Wolf Challenge (Fear Factor style) at the ropes course at noon, put together a cheer for the contest right before you cheer on the Thunderwolves Women’s Soccer team against Colorado Christian starting at 1pm, and come to the Alumni Association for a Luau reception party in the ballroom from 6-10 pm.

Saturday, 13 Oct., is Family Fun Day, sponsored by the Office of Student Activities. Bring the whole family and enjoy hay rides, a petting zoo, pumpkin carving, food, live music, inflatables and face painting.
