Mexican independence day celebration held Sept. 14

A Mexican Independence Day Celebration will take place on campus Friday, Sept. 14 from 11:30-12:30 on the Occhiato Patio. A performance by Groupo Folkorico del Pueblo is sponsored by the Multicultural Center. All are invited to attend.

    Glad that we celebrate other cultures, but why celebrate another country’s independence day? we dont celebrate Ireland, France etc so why Mexico?
