Pueblo Symphony to hold Auditions for Orchestra Personnel

The Pueblo Symphony will hold auditions for the 2007-08 season. The positions available include: second oboe, third flute and all strings. Auditions will be held on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007 in room 168 of the Capps Capozzolo building on the CSU-Pueblo campus in Dr. Jacob Chi’s office, conductor of the Pueblo Symphony. Those interested should contact Stevy Whited, personel manager, for an audition time, at 719-406-1704. Pueblo Symphony Friends Presents: “Whet Your Appetite”

The Pueblo Symphony Friends presents “A Season to Sing About.” The event will be held at the Pueblo Country Club on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Pueblo Country Club is located at 3200 8th Avenue. Music will be provided by the Veronika String Quartet, Al Eberhardt and Alan Polivka, Todd Albrecht, Barbara and Dr. J. Michael Beck, Tabitha Rooney and Patti Gallagher. Reservations are required and must be placed by Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, by calling the Pueblo Symphony office at 719-545-7967. Tickets are $20 each.
