Specials at local bars include college night, karaoke

There are a lot of bars in Pueblo, but not many people know the schedules for their specials and entertainment. Three fun and exciting bars include Andy McCarthy’s, The Riverside and Showtime.

Andy McCarthy’s and the Riverside are both located close to campus, on Jerry Murphy, and can be a fun any night of the week.

Showtime is located near the “downtown” area of Pueblo, but has a dance floor and is a great place to celebrate any occasion.

Andy McCarthy’s is a great place for avid sports fans, as well as the people who just want to have a good time. They have great specials seven days a week.

Their schedule is as follows:

Monday is happy hour all day long from open to close. This includes two-for-one wines, wells and drafts, as well as $2 off all appetizers.

Tuesday night is College Night, which means that you can get $1 wells, $2 domestic drafts and $3 bombs.

Wednesday night is karaoke night after 9 p.m. The special for the night is $6 pitchers all night long.

Thursday you get $5 pitchers all day.

Friday night is College Night. Tuesday’s specials apply.

Saturday is $3 domestic big beers all day long.

Sunday is $2.50 Bloody Mary’s all day long.

From 4-7 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, it’s “Happy Hour,” which includes two-for-one wines, wells and drafts, as well as $2 off all appetizers.

The Riverside is a great place to relax and have a few drinks, as well as enjoy live music. The drinks are very reasonable and there are specials almost every day.

Tuesday night is shooting star karaoke.

Thursday night you can see an acoustic duet called “Broken Angel”

Friday night is karaoke night.

Saturday night always has a live band.

Sunday night is jazz night and live bands play

Along with all of this, “Happy Hour” as everyday from 4-7 p.m. and drink specials include $4 domestic pitchers, $5.50 avalanche and blue moon pitchers, $1 draws, $1.50 pints, $4 bombs and $1 all calls and premiums.

Showtime is a great place for people who like to dance or just hang out, and they have great deals to go along with the great atmosphere.

Tuesday and Thursday nights you can get two-for-one domestic pitchers from 8-midnight.

“Happy Hour” is everyday from 4-7 p.m., which means you can get two-for-one wines, wells and drafts. Every night from 8-midnight is the $5 bottle bucket-of -beer special.
