September 4th, 2007 by Josh BirchfieldA Pueblo senior won second place at the Global Arts Film Festival L.A. this June. CSU-Pueblo student Juliana Aragon Fatula along with Devon Johnson, an independent film maker out of Denver, co-wrote the screenplay called Peaceful Sleep.
Both Fatula and her co-writer Johnson are currently looking for a producer and hope to see it reach the independent film level, according to Fatula.
Fatula was born in Canon City, Colo., and is perusing her teaching degree in secondary english and a minor in creative writing. Fatula and Johnson met while she living in Denver from 1990 to 1998.
The two met while Fatula was auditioning for a role in a film called Colour Blind, in which she was cast. Johnson has won several awards for director and has also won a prize in the indie Skeletal Dreams at the Global Arts Film Festival.

There are several typos in this article. I emailed this information to the writer and he did not interview me either on the phone or in person so he had the correct spelling of Davon Johnson’s name. Also he won first place for his indie film Skeletal Dreams at the Global Arts Film Festival this year. Please proof read your work before posting it. Thank you for taking an interest in my award.
