SEC’s next meeting will be held Sept 17
September 14th, 2007 by Today StaffOn Monday Sept 17 the Students for Environmental Club will hold a meeting with presentations by Maya Avina, associate professor of art, and Dick White, regional coordinator and retired astronomy professor.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in OUC 204.
Avina’s presentation is entitled Designing an Ecovillage: Shelter: Beauty, Sustainability, Function.
Students can find out how to help with the project, and they may be able to recieve credit for it.
White’s presentation will be on Focus on the Nation which is committed to placing global warming on the national political agenda by using the nation’s campuses as platforms for non-partisan interdisciplinary discussion.
