In America, summer is synonymous with baseball, the great American pastime. From little league, to major league, baseball is a summer tradition. You may think that you have to drive to Denver to enjoy a good ball game, but the Colorado Springs Sky Sox offer a baseball filled summer only an hour’s drive from Pueblo.

The Sky Sox are a minor league baseball team that plays in Colorado Springs throughout the summer at Security Service Field. With traditional baseball fun, at a fraction of the cost of Rockies games, and an hour closer to home, Sky Sox games are a great addition to any summer.

The Sky Sox offer many promotions throughout the summer to attract fans, including Friday night fireworks, $2 Tuesdays, and military appreciation nights. Friday night fireworks are back for the rest of the season, after being temporarily banned during this year’s difficult fire season. The stadium is often filled with fans, and games sell out throughout the season.
