New turf for new season

By Tiffany Underwood The Colorado State University-Pueblo softball team hopes to improve on last year’s ninth place RMAC finish but they aren’t practicing where they normally would. Instead they are practicing on one of their side fields while the main one gets new turf. The team is coached by head coach Christie Koschke, and assistant coaches Andrea Smylie and Bob Zinanti. Pack softball could not keep up

The team allowed a total of 42 hits which resulted to 28 runs in the four games played. The first game remained scoreless for two innings until Metro State started an offensive rally in the top of the third. CSU-Pueblo’s softball team splits with UCCS

Colorado State University-Pueblo’s softball team split with the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Mountain Lions.
