Hispanic Heritage Month


As Colorado State University-Pueblo continues its celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, students are invited to this month’s free events. Here is this week’s schedule of events.

Friday, October 10

Film and discussion of Zoot Suit, led by Dr. Fawn Amber Montoya, Chicano Studies Coordinator. 9 p.m., Belmont Residence Hall Lobby.

Wednesday, October 15

Presentation by Jade Esteban Estrada ICONS – History for Sexual and Gender Minorities. 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., OUC Ballroom.

Monday and Tuesday, November 3 and 4

Dia de los Muertos:  Dora Luz Cobian, Mujeres Unidas and Campus Catholic Ministries, 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. OUC Great Hall and Hearthwell Lounge.
