Letter from the Editor

4.9kviews

Welcome back! I hope you had an enjoyable summer, and are now ready to dig in at the many academic challenges awaiting you.

Since the start of the summer semester, the editorial staff has been to working hard to generate and produce fresh ideas for the campus’s top news and information vehicle. From stand alone photos to a weekly video game column, CSU-Pueblo TODAY online continues to explore new creative possibilities designed to appeal to every taste.

However, our publication can offer readers much more, and this is where you can help.

Do you like to write? Perhaps you know someone who likes to shoot photographs or video. Maybe you know someone who likes to draw or write poetry. Would you like to serve as a citizen journalist (non-professional reporters who writes and reports the news)? Maybe you wish to write about a particular hobby.

CSU-Pueblo TODAY wants your photographic, artistic and writing talents for online publication, because CSU-Pueblo TODAY believes that contributions from readers like you give our product personality and enhance readership.

The creative possibilities are limited only to your imagination and motivation, so please give some thought as to how we can improve our product. Some have already submitted letters to the editor, while others have offered story ideas. I believe your contributions can only help build on CSU-Pueblo TODAY’s reputation of journalism excellence.

Keep in mind, CSU-Pueblo TODAY reserves the right to edit material for Associated Press style and taste. Submissions will receive a story byline or photo/video credit, and will remain on our website for approximately one week.

I want to note that CSU-Pueblo TODAY has moved from the Capps Capozzolo Academic Center for the Arts (Art and Music Building) into the Buell Communications Center (KTSC-TV). Please feel free to drop by to share your comments and concerns, or contact us at (719) 549-2847 or today@colostate-pueblo.edu.

CSU-Pueblo TODAY values your input on how we might improve this online service, so let us hear from you. Enjoy the new semester.
